Estrella Insurance franchisees pay a monthly royalty fee of 10% of net commissions and a monthly marketing fund fee of 5% of net commissions.
Estrella Insurance initial training includes 80 hours of classroom training in corporate offices in Miami, Florida on topics including introduction to insurance, agency management, customer service, sales, human resources, operations and “hands-on” service to customers. The classroom training is followed by 264 hours of on the job training at the franchisee’s facility and assistance with pre-opening publicity. Facility set-up is assisted with detailed design plans for office layout and interior decoration, exterior sign design, and training with the accounting system and operations of the on-line computer terminal. Estrella Insurance has ongoing support for franchisees in important areas such as assistance with local advertising and participation in regional advertising. Estrella conducts regular inspections and evaluations on standards of quality, service, merchandising and advertising in order to provide advice, consultation or training and enhance uniformity and quality control. Ongoing assistance is always available for franchisees via telephone.
